I Failed Color Theory

in 2021, I was given the opportunity to take over the stay fresh gallery with a solo show. I titled the show “I failed color theory” as an ode to dropping out of my first semester of college while studying graphic design. I closed of this part of myself for a decade until the pandemic gave me the time, space, inspiration and financial ability through unemployment. Mentally I used this collection as a way of revisiting concepts of color, light and shapes as closure on my own terms. these works are studies that stand as a framework and foundation in the concept of vividly moving forward.
